2007 Campaign Kickoff

North Suburban United Way held its 2007 campaign kickoff with a well attended Northbrook Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours event co-hosted by 41 North. Over 100 people were in attendance representing the local business community as well as affiliated agencies, elected officials, board members and volunteers. Marla Friedman, President of the Board, and Richard Rushkewicz, Chairman and CEO of Northbrook Bank & Trust, welcomed the crowd and thanked them for their past support and continued partnership in meeting the health and human service needs of those who live and work in the communities served by North Suburban United Way. This year over $500,000 was invested in local programs. The Campaign goal for 2007 is $550,000.
