The evening included a silent auction featuring birdhouses decorated by local community leaders, a performance by Glenbrook North High School’s Northwind Woodwind Quintet, and Acts Of Kindness Cabaret’s <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Back to Basics:  Colors, Shapes, Numbers and other Life Lessons</em>.  Over $6,000 was raised by the benefit.</p>]]></description>

This year over $500,000 was invested in local programs. The Campaign goal for 2007 is $550,000.</p>
